Welcome to Joint Endeavors Woodworks. By accessing or using our website, placing an order, or purchasing our products, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

1. About Us

Joint Endeavors Woodworks designs and produces handcrafted hardwood cutting boards, serving boards, wall art, furnishings, and other artisan wood products. Each item is individually crafted and may feature natural variations that make every piece unique.

2. Product Information

We make every effort to accurately describe and photograph our products.

Because our products are handcrafted from natural hardwoods:

  • Grain patterns, color, figure, knots, mineral streaks, and other natural characteristics will vary.

  • No two products will be identical.

  • Product photographs represent the general appearance of each design but are not the exact item you will receive.

These natural characteristics are not considered defects.

3. Custom & Personalized Orders

Custom and personalized products are produced according to the information supplied by the customer.

Customers are responsible for verifying:

  • Names

  • Dates

  • Spelling

  • Custom text

  • Artwork approvals

  • Design selections

Once production has begun, custom orders generally cannot be canceled or modified.

4. Pricing

All prices are listed in U.S. Dollars.

We reserve the right to change prices, discontinue products, modify product specifications, or correct pricing errors without prior notice.

Price changes do not affect orders that have already been accepted.

5. Payment

Payment is due at the time an order is placed.

Orders will not enter production until payment has been successfully processed.

6. Production Times

Many products are handcrafted after an order is received.

Estimated production and shipping timeframes are provided as guidance only and are not guaranteed.

Unexpected delays caused by material availability, equipment maintenance, weather, or carrier disruptions may occasionally occur.

7. Shipping

We currently offer shipping within the United States as described on our Shipping Policy.

Risk of loss transfers to the customer upon delivery by the carrier.

Customers should inspect shipments promptly and report any shipping damage as soon as reasonably possible.

8. Returns & Warranty

Returns and warranty claims are governed by our Returns & Craftsmanship Guarantee, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

9. Product Care

Proper care is essential to the longevity of solid wood products.

Customers should follow the care instructions provided with their purchase.

Products should never be:

  • Washed in a dishwasher

  • Soaked in water

  • Exposed to prolonged moisture

  • Subjected to excessive heat

Failure to properly maintain a product will void warranty coverage.

10. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use this website:

  • For unlawful purposes;

  • To interfere with website operation;

  • To attempt unauthorized access to our systems;

  • To submit false or fraudulent orders.

11. Intellectual Property

All website content, including text, photographs, product designs, graphics, logos, videos, and other materials, is the property of Joint Endeavors Woodworks or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

No content may be copied, reproduced, distributed, or used without prior written permission.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Joint Endeavors Woodworks shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from the use of our website or products.

Our total liability for any claim relating to an order shall not exceed the purchase price of the product giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits any rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Wisconsin, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

Any legal action arising from these Terms shall be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction located within the State of Wisconsin, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
